'I am a 29 year old student from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, studying a Masters in Folk Music at Musikkonservatoriet, Odense. My main instrument is the Violin : http://1748.dk/kurser/strygere, and i have been playing this for 16 years now. I also play some Piano http://1748.dk/kurser/klaver, Guitar http://1748.dk/kurser/guitar, Melodeon (button accordion) and the Banjo! As a young boy i was classically trained, however with family connections to Scottish folk Dance i also had a love for Celtic folk music, particularly music for dance. Through my youth years i developed as a keen folk musician, playing with many of the local young musicians and creating bands,http://1748.dk/kurser/sammenspil-band-s including National Award winning group 'Last Orders'. Now, after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Folk and Traditional Music, i am seeking to become a professional musician through teaching, performing and composing.'
